Quite different! Japanese and Foreign Attitudes Toward the Delicate Zone

かなり違う!日本と海外のデリケートゾーンへの考え方

Although awareness of delicate zone care has recently increased in Japan, awareness is still low compared to overseas, and few people take care of it.

Is it something to be ashamed of?

When many Japanese women hear the word "skin care," they probably think of taking care of their face and body lines.

However, if you do not take care of your delicate zone as well, even though you cannot see it, your skin may not be in good condition.

In Japan, there is relatively little time to learn about sex, and the topic of the delicate zone is not often discussed between parents and children or at school.

This kind of topic tends to be avoided and few people have a detailed knowledge of the subject.

However, this kind of topic is very important for people to know about their own bodies, and it is not something to be ashamed of.

[It is commonplace in other countries.

Although the care of the delicate zone is not fully penetrated in Japan, a look overseas reveals that it is taken for granted in many countries.

For example, in Italy, soaps for the delicate zone are available as hotel amenities.

This shows that care for the delicate zone is taken for granted.

In the U.K. and China, for example, there are even sections of stores that sell items specifically designed for the delicate zone.

These are scenes that cannot be seen in Japan.

Overseas, lectures are also given between parents and children.

In other countries, when girls reach the age of menarche, they learn about sex and pregnancy in detail at school.

At the same time as learning about sex, it is also commonplace for the mother to give a lecture on the care of the delicate zones.

If someone close to them takes it for granted, it is easy for children to become aware that it is natural for them to take care of themselves, and they will naturally take good care of their delicate zones.

This is one of the major differences between Japan and other countries, and is one of the reasons why Japan is said to be lagging behind in the area of delicate zone care.

Is hair removal commonplace?

Speaking of the delicate zone, one of the biggest concerns among Japanese women is the feeling of dampness in the area.

However, this problem is not a major concern in other countries.

This is because in other countries, many people remove hair from the VIO, and there are not many people who suffer discomfort from VIO hair.

In Germany, some families even give their children the gift of VIO hair removal as a celebration when they turn 18.

The fact that people are aware of the importance of hair removal for the delicate zone is another point where the level of awareness seems to be a little different compared to Japan.
